Algar of Benagil cave is one of the most beautiful natural monuments in the World! Known as Algar de Benagil, it is a natural cavity formed by erosion, about 20 million years old, and located west of the small town in the Algarve that gives it its name. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACH IN EUROPE IS IN THE ALGARVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAVE IN THE WORLD IS PORTUGUESE Always arrive 30 minutes before the tour starts. You should look for your guide next to the "O Algar" restaurant, he will be there waiting for you. The tour will start at Benagil beach. For private tours please make your request: Minimum capacity of 4 people. The day and time of the tour may be subject to change due to sea and weather conditions.

Benagil Caves with great tour guides!

It was fun to get to go through all the grottos and spot the animals in the cliffs. The gorilla was my favorite. We got to go through smaller caves and ended the trip with visiting the famous Benagil cave where we got out of our kayak to take a bunch of photos. It's way better than a boat tour since those tours you must remain in the boat and not be able to get close to the caves. The tour guides were all nice and showed us the best parts of Benagil. The meeting point is by O Algar restaurant which is easy to find. Make sure you have a lot of energy, the kayak is tiring but a whole lot of fun!

Vacation highlight!

Kayaking in the caves was incredible! Our guides were so knowledgeable about how to navigate the caves & about their natural history. I’d recommend this tour versus kayaking by yourself as there is tons of traffic from other tours & boats.

Amazing to see the caves

It was a great tour. Got to go into the pirates cave and to the Benagil cave. A arm workout. The kayaks were already down the mountain so it was no work at all.

Amazing experience with great team!

Great experience with a really cool but also careful guide team! From meeting the group, getting instructions about safety and the trip to the actual kayak trip - awesome structure and planning! We can only but recommend this experience with this team!

Fun for all even with choppy seas

This tour was amazing!! Waters were fairly rough so we only went into the main cave, but Nuno was super professional, ensured everyone was safe the entire time and was also very informative! Compared to other tours near us, I thought our guides really went above and beyond keeping the group together, ensuring everyone saw all the neat little details both on shore and in the water. The caves are gorgeous, the cliffs are gorgeous, overall it was a really fun day in the water. Would highly recommend.
