There are many existing caves in the Algarve coast, but Benagil have the most famous caves in the Algarve, and probably in Portugal. The famous "Algar de Benagil" is a hole created at the top of the rock, is probably the most photographed spot and shared images through out the world.
The only way to access the Benagil caves is by water, there is no walking access so, do it on a Stand Up Paddle board is one of the best options to visit them, because with the board, you can go inside of the caves, walk and access the beaches that are within their own caves, which otherwise is not possible!

Diogo was fantastic. He made sure we all were safe and well attended during our adventure. It is a very busy area and it is important to have someone who understands how to navigate the boat traffic, strong waves and the caves. It was a rough day so we only went into the big cave, but that was very cool. We will call Diogo next time we visit and he promised to show us a lot more on a calmer day.
10/10 Best thing I’ve done in Portugal so far!

The SUP tour of the Benagil caves was amazing. We went earlier in the day (10 am) so there were smaller crowds and had only 4 people in our tour group. Our guide, Antonio, was fantastic- helpful, knowledgable, friendly, and spoke English & Portuguese. The caves are not to be missed, especially Paradise cave which cannot be easily accessed by the speed boats.

Very nice experience. Joe is very friendly and very experienced. He is more like out tour guide, always explained the attraction while paddling. He also helped us to take pictures. :) A fantastic SUP experience.

The Benagil Sup tour was everything we could’ve asked for, our tour guide and teacher Diogo was next to none, with me and my girlfriend and 3 others as a small group of 5 he managed to keep all of us safe out in the water whilst also taking us to the most beautiful and hidden caves along the Algarve, would highly recommend everyone to take this tour and be out in the water instead of a sailing past in a boat!
