SAND CITY, em Lagoa, é atualmente o Maior Parque de Esculturas em Areia do Mundo.
É também considerado uma das melhores atracções do Algarve por ser único e diferente, ocupando uma área exterior de 6 hectares, construído por mais de 60 artistas de vários continentes que esculpiram mais de 90 esculturas diferentes.
Visite a pé ou alugue um buggy no parque, levando sua família numa jornada de descoberta.
Depois de tanto caminhar, é só relaxar e deixar que nossos peixes médicos cuidem de seus pés.

It is also one of the best parks in the Algarve for being unique and different, occupying an area of 6 hectares, building by more than 60 artists from several continents coming to carve more than 90 different sculptures.
Over the last 16 years, Prosandart has held what was the largest sand sculpture festival in the world, FIESA, which is now giving way to SAND CITY, the great news of this summer in the Algarve.
At SAND CITY you will experience, enjoy and learn about different traditions, nature, history, art, culture, gastronomy, cinema, sports, music and all the imagery related to the sculptures.

We took a detour when we saw the signs but it was totally worth it. The sculpture in the sand is really a unique experience. It is changed every year.
A place not to be missed if you are in the area, but you will need a car to get to it.
Personally, I liked how free flowing it is. They could provide guided tours for those who want it for extra money. You can hire a buggy to get around quicker also.
There are some shaded areas to sit, as it does get very hot (even at 4.30pm). My children enjoyed the sand area and spent a lot of time there.
I paid extra for the fish spa, which was a great addition to the trip. The cost is reasonable and under 5's are free to enter.
We thought the sculpture were excellent we spend around 2 hours wandering through the various themes and yes some of the older sculptures are in need or repair, but over all the detail and variety of the sculptures was very good.
There were lots for the kids to see and relate to as many of the favourite film characters are on display.
