We were recommended the tour by another couple staying at the same hotel. And we were so glad they did. What a wonderful tour, it was lovely to have a local guide who could tell us so much about the Tavira. The salt flats are breathtaking and it was great to see flamingos too. Thank you

An excellent way to be introduced to Tavira and get your bearings on the town. Our driver & guide really knew his stuff with the electric, pollution free low carbon, tuk tuk perfect for navigating the narrow streets. At a little over an hour and 15 minutes it’s an easy time commitment and will give plenty of ideas of places to spend more time. Highly recommended

Joãa our tour guide was very knowledgeable about his home town. From salt pans to castles, tuna fishing, churches and the fascinating historic doors and architecture. Very enjoyable and informative time. Do this tour as soon as you can as it then gives you ideas of where you would like to investigate further. Obrigada João.

Our group of four loved the whole trip. It was far more informative than any of us expected. Cruising through the oldest part of the city, learning about the history, the churches, the beautiful tile work on the buildings, and the story behind the hand shaped door-knockers, not to mention the salt industry was all very interesting. Our guide was quite personable and spent extra time with us. Definitely worth the time and money!
