Onze gloednieuwe speedboot heeft de perfecte maat en afmetingen om enkele van de meest verbazingwekkende grotten tussen Portimão en Benagil binnen te gaan.
Vertrekkend vanuit Portimão, het ontmoetingspunt bevindt zich naast de ruïnes van het San Francisco-klooster, we beginnen met een kleine veiligheidsbriefing van onze bemanningsleden, distributie van de reddingsvesten.
Tijdens deze 90 minuten krijgt u de gelegenheid om een van de wonderen in de Algarve te verkennen, de kustlijn en grotten, die door de jaren heen in de rotsen zijn gevormd en uitgehouwen als gevolg van erosie, impact van de golven op de rotsen, de wind en de regen.

Marina de Portimao
Portimão Marina ligt aan de westkant van Portimão en biedt niet alleen een veilige haven voor zeilers, maar ook een levendige en leuke plek om zonnige zomerdagen door te brengen of in de winter naar de golven te kijken. We maken een korte wandeling voordat we op de boot stappen.

Algar de Benagil
We gaan naar Benagil, een klein vissersdorpje aan de zuidkust van de Algarve dat de laatste jaren bekendheid heeft gekregen dankzij zijn ongelooflijke zeegrot, maar er is veel meer dan alleen een grot om te verkennen in deze pittoreske bestemming in de Algarve.
De meest bekende van de rotsformaties is de Grot van Benagil (Gruta de Benagil), waar zich ook de Algar de Benagil bevindt. Deze gigantische grot wordt ook wel de Benagil-kathedraal genoemd vanwege de verschillende bogen die het vormt, die het, gezien vanaf de buitenkant van de grot, het uiterlijk van een kathedraal geven.

Cheap and as expected! Great guide and lots of value for the money. They didn’t hesitate to make a stop whenever we Saw dolphins which was great! Can definitely recommend it!

Was a great experience and tour of the caves, Rafa the guide was funny and had plenty of local knowledge to share along the way.
Duration of tour was perfect and the skipper was spot on with his driving.

Really can’t fault this tour. Rafa (our guide) was friendly, funny and informative - he created a really relaxed atmosphere on the boat. This tour took us right into the caves, navigated by Wagner (the fantastic captain). Felt safe the whole time - would definitely recommend this company!

This experience was part of my birthday trip and it was beautiful! Lovely sights and amazing tour guide. We did not get to see any dolphins which I was hoping for but it is the ocean after all!

This 1 h 45 mins tour is very well-organized and has lots of
fun. The guide is super nice and humorous. The tour goes into several caves including Benagil. In Jan., the weather is pretty nice but you still need a heavy jacket.

This was a totally fun experience. It was way better than I expected and worth every penny. This tour was not as expensive as the others but we still got 2+ hours and viewed many caves. My teens enjoyed it thoroughly as well! Highly recommend!!
Enjoyable trip to caves

Small boat that went in to caves and as only English speaking people on the boat we had a very personalised service from our excellent guide Rafa. Described as ‘Adrenalin’ ride but journey back to port was fast but smooth from pilot Hugo. We changed dates after the initial booking so perhaps this is why it was a more gentle ride.
