Kom mee op deze tour met een zeilschip langs de mooie kustlijn van de Algarve en de grotten. De reis begint in de historische haven van Portimão, gaat richting de zuidoostkust, langs de vissersdorpen Ferragudo, Benagil en Carvoeiro en de prachtige stranden Algar Seco, Vale Centianes, Marinha en Armação de Pêra. Onderweg wordt een bezoek gebracht aan de mooie grotten van Benagil en Alfanzina. Met traditionele grotboten verkennen we de fascinerende grotten.

What To Expect
Algar de Benagil
We beginnen onze reis in Portimão. Bij de vuurtoren van Ferragudo hijsen we de zeilen en varen we in zuidoostelijke richting langs de kustlijn naar de vuurtoren van Alfanzina. Hier gaan we voor anker om te zwemmen en stapt u aan boord van kleinere boten voor een bezoek aan de grotten beschreven in programma 1, langs de stranden van Carvalho, Benagil naar Praia da Marinha. Vervolgens varen we op motorkracht terug naar Portimão langs de rotsen, grotten en stranden.

Had a fantastic afternoon out on this ship and then on the wee boat going into the caves. It was a lot of fun and very exciting and a totally great experience. The staff are very highly skilled and experienced and I would put my trust in every single one of them. We were very impressed with them all. We then had a very lovely bonus when the dolphins rocked up and joined the party. The skipper knew what he was doing and slowed the boat down so the dolphins loved this and hung around for ages. Very delighted

Excellent time on Santa Bernarda ship yesterday evening. I have a fear of boats and getting sea sick, so I was nervous about going onto the boat. However, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The boat sailed very smoothly and I felt relaxed and safe. It was really cool to get onto a smaller boat to be able to see the caves, again I was nervous about this but the staff reassured me and helped you get on and off the small boats.
We were able to see the sunset and actually sail towards it, this was a beautiful experience and feel very lucky to experience this and share this moment with my family.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and approachable. He could speak many languages and spoke very clearly. The facts were extremely interesting.

An afternoon of fun on the high seas

This is quite possibly the best €35 I have ever spent. The whole trip was superb, all the crew were engaging and fun. If your in the area I would highly recommend spending an afternoon on a pirate adventure. Life is about creating memories and today was a memory.
Must go if you re visiting Pottimao

It was really easy to book, Paula was very quick to reply by booking via WhatsApp. We went with our teen boys who loved jumping off the pirate boat! The caves were great and a small selection of sandwiches and drinks onboard. Would recommend to take your own too.
