Great silence electric boat trip

We had a great boat trip with Lois who was an excellent guide through the sea banks and we saw may different birds. It was great to be able to travel silently with the fully electric boat. Highly recommended!

Tranquility

This was such a great trip- an hour long and possibly one of the loveliest trips we’ve been on. It is solar powered so noisy engine and diesel smell. It was so tranquil. Our guide was really knowledgeable and passionate about the preservation of this area and respect to the wildlife. Highly recommend.

Best part of our trip to Faro

Wonderful customer service from Michel our tour guide. Felt safe and looked after. Got to see the beautiful sunset slowly sink into water. Travellers please don't throw plastic into the sea, keep it clean for fish and birds.

Solar-powered boat - the way to go!

A peaceful cruise around the Ria Formosa and islands, with lots of interest to see. Amazing sensation to be on a boat without a noisy polluting engine throbbing away the whole time. Like sailing, but without the effort! Our very competent skipper Luis was also an informative nature guide and pointed out to us the redshanks, spoonbills, herons, whimbrel, egrets and cormorants which make these low-lying barrier islands their home. Binoculars, a handy bird guide and comfortable lifejackets were provided on board. I would go again - and maybe see osprey next time as well!
