About this activity

This experience is magical… It starts with a boat trip to one of the most beautiful areas of the Ria Formosa – Barrinha, as it is known among the locals, where the surf lesson will take place. After finishing the first activity, we will travel to another captivating area of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, where the stand up paddle (SUP) lesson will take place.! This experience is aimed at all levels of performance, whether for surfing or SUP. This activity has the duration of approximately 4 hours. All equipment is included (surfboard, suit, Lycra, SUP board, paddle and vest), boat trip, as well as sports insurance.

Ria Formosa Natural Park
30 min - The tour will be on the side of the river, where there are easy conditions for riding on the SUP board. The tour passes through the Ria Formosa National Park. We can stop at the oyster farm and watch a great variety of birds and plants.

Stop 2
30 min - This place is at the end of Praia de Faro. It is a connecting river and ocean. There is no tourism in this place and you can enjoy the undisturbed beauty of nature.

Tranquilidade e fluidez asseguradas

Todo o percurso do início ao fim foi magnífico. A orientação segura e afável do instrutor Manuel para a utilização do equipamento, o trajeto tranquilo e agradável pela ria, a passagem pelos viveiros e o desafio de passar pelas ondas. Foi tudo, tudo excelente!!

Went for a 4/5 km paddle around the national Park

Great experience

Our SUP tour got cancelled, because of the weather, but the staff was super friendly and did everything to find a solution. They organised an alternative tour in which we didn't have to worry about the wind or current. They are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend booking with them. (A special thanks to our tourguide Nuno)
