This was an exceptional tour Carla and Armando were a lovely couple. We had a great day out stopping for lunch on an Island for a great fish lunch. We had some time at sea looking for dolphins as well as swimming time off the coast. The boat itself is fantastic. We felt like Jet Set sat on the front of the boat drinking Champagne. Drinks were brought to us constantly. Carla even looked after our baby for a while whilst we jumped in the Ocean. Definitely the highlight of the holiday. I've booked again already!
I would give this tour ten stars if it were an option. I believe there are two catamaran companies running tours out of Faro. If you are lucky and Sunset has availability do not hesitate to book with Armando and Carla. There is just something special when a tour is lead by people passionate about what they are doing. We had the loveliest day with this couple, they are professional and accommodating but above all else they are sharing their love of the sea and Portugal. We paid a tiny extra for an authentic and delicious lunch which we highly recommend. We feel so blessed to have had this experience. Next time we will spend a couple nights on the boat. It was wonderful start to finish.
Armando y Carla fueron unos anfitriones maravillosos y contribuyeron a que pasáramos un día excepcional con los chicos. Hicimos varias paradas para bañarnos en la ría y mar abierto, algunos practicaron paddle-surf y otros disfrutamos un buen vino blanco portugués invitación de los anfitriones. Además tuvimos la suerte de ver delfines... No podíamos pedir mas :) Armando and Carla were wonderful hosts and helped us spend an exceptional day with the boys. We made several stops to swim in the estuary and the open sea, some practiced paddle-surfing, snorkeling and others enjoyed a good Portuguese white wine invited by the hosts. We were also lucky enough to see dolphins... We couldn't ask for more :)
We have booked a full day out and from our week long vacation it was our best day Armando and Carla are absolutely great, very friendly, full of knowledge and are just keen on making sure everyone is enjoying themselves We went out to look for dolphins, enjoyed sunbathing on the deck and out hosts were very attentive and accommodating - taking us swimming, paddle boarding everywhere we wanted to go, we also had great conversations and learnt a lot Lunch was in a good restaurant The vibe on the boat was great, the sea was calm, the weather was hot but not too much … just perfect Armando / Carla Thank you
Carla & Armando we’re excellent hosts! They made the experience much more than we could have asked for. We learned about the islands around Faro and some history about the areas while lounging on the top of the boat. We were brought to a delicious restaurant on Farol island. We were also brought to a lagoon which was so peaceful & beautiful to explore. Armando and Carla were so patient with the children and facilitated everything that they wanted - jumping off the boat and swimming around the waters for example! The boat was extremely clean and tidy and there was space for everyone - if the sun got too much there was a place to relax inside. Carla & Armando set up a gorgeous surprise for the family when we arrived back from the lagoon. We had a brilliant day - one we not forget & we will definitely be back for another amazing trip! I cannot say enough how wonderful this tour of the Faro Islands was. It was a super relaxing venture for a rather busy trip to Portugal. The hosts, Carla and Armando could not do enough for us. We celebrated my niece's 25th birthday in style on this gorgeous catamaran, visiting beaches, swimming, jumping off the boat. The hosts booked us a table at a small (mainly) seafood restaurant on one of the islands and it was the best meal we had all trip. We learned some Faro history, geographical, biological information that kept us curious and asking questions. The pace of this adventure and the hosts made it simply divine. You would be remiss to book any other sort of cruise other than this one.
