SANDCITY, em Lagoa, é atualmente o Maior Parque de Esculturas em Areia do Mundo. Besök en pé ou alugue um buggy no parque, levando sua família numa jornada de descoberta. Depois de tanto caminhar, é so relaxar e deixar que nossos peixes médicos cuidem de seus pés. Som crianças não são esquecidas e podem construir seus castelos de areia enquanto os pais desfrutam de uma refeição leve no nosso Sandy Bar. SAND CITY, i Lagoa, är för närvarande den största sandskulpturparken i världen. Det är också en av de bästa parkerna i Algarve för att vara unik och annorlunda, och upptar en yta på 6 hektar, byggd av mer än 60 konstnärer från flera kontinenter som kommer att tälja mer än 90 olika skulpturer. Under de senaste 16 åren har Prosandart hållit vad som var den största sandskulpturfestivalen i världen, FIESA, som nu ger plats för SAND CITY, sommarens stora nyheter i Algarve. På SAND CITY kommer du att uppleva, njuta av och lära dig om olika traditioner, natur, historia, konst, kultur, gastronomi, film, sport, musik och allt bildspråk relaterade till skulpturerna. Sand City! Who knew it could be so cool

What a unique experience exploring the Sand City! We took a detour when we saw the signs but it was totally worth it. The sculpture in the sand is really a unique experience. It is changed every year.

Sand City

We went with our adult daughter and all of us enjoyed the visit. We also rented a buggy to see around the whole site. All the sand sculptures were great,and the staff were very good. A place not to be missed if you are in the area, but you will need a car to get to it.

If you love sculptures this is great

I was slightly hesitant to visit after reading some reviews but myself and my children enjoyed ourselves. They loved seeing sculptures of their favourite characters. I was amazed by the accuracy of the work. It's truly amazing. Personally, I liked how free flowing it is. They could provide guided tours for those who want it for extra money. You can hire a buggy to get around quicker also. There are some shaded areas to sit, as it does get very hot (even at 4.30pm). My children enjoyed the sand area and spent a lot of time there. I paid extra for the fish spa, which was a great addition to the trip. The cost is reasonable and under 5's are free to enter.

Worth a visit if in the area

Thanks to those who visited recently and but on a more balanced review. We thought the sculpture were excellent we spend around 2 hours wandering through the various themes and yes some of the older sculptures are in need or repair, but over all the detail and variety of the sculptures was very good. There were lots for the kids to see and relate to as many of the favourite film characters are on display. Well worth a visit
