This tour grants you the unique opportunity for getting to know one of the most extraordinary landscapes in Algarve. The Formosa ecosystem is a must see! There’s no place like this in all of Europe: you cannot find desert islands, oyster’s production plains, wild seahorses and dolphin families in the same spot, except in Ria Formosa.
But the most important part is this paradox: if you’re renting a motor boat just to look around, you won’t get the thrills of sailing. But if you decide to go on a sailing tour, most ships will only get you to the ocean front, not even close to the inside channels or the desert islands of Ria Formosa.
Also, Ricardo is a seasoned professional skipper who knows best: he will explain to you the biodiversity and the beauty of this place. Not only he will sail to find you that specific group of dolphins you wish to see, as he will find you a sea cucumber, to impress the kids in case you have them.
I surely recommend this trip. I’ve done two years in a row with my kids, and they treasure this memories all year around, making me want to come to see more!

Great tour with some sailing lessons with Ricardo! We had a perfect day (calm sea and some wind) and perfect company (two young german couples) and everything went fine. Will do again!
