Perfect way to see and learn about Tavira

This was a wonderful experience and highly recommend. The town of Tavira is beautiful and historic. The tour gave us time to take pictures and we learned so much about the area. We can’t wait to visit again!

Our guide was friendly and took time to create a memorable experience. We visited the salt pans and fishing village.

Tuk tuk is the best way to experience the sights sounds of Tavira. Our guide was knowledgeable about local issues, weather, tourism, food and family. We learned a lot and felt comfortable with him. We even stopped for a beer with him for some great conversation at a tiny local cafe.

Salt Pans Amazing!!

Seeing the SALT PANS and the Ria Formosa was amazing. This is an absolute must if you are visiting Tavira. It was fascinating seeing this and the Tuna museum where the tuna fishing previously took place and was such a contributing factor to the economy and history prior to tourism. The city tour of Tavira was also very interesting. Joao was a great guide and we enjoyed his passion for the love of nature and his beautiful city (TAVIRA)
